The Gods be praised! Sony has finally stepped up and brought a facelift with the PSP Go to their portable play station series. It is ever so smaller than the old PSP 3000, closer in size to the iPhone but just a touch bigger then it with rounder corners. And no, they have not brought in a touch screen, as nice as touch screens are they are nowhere near as accurate as they need to be to make the complex games for play station work. The changes for the PSP Go do not stop there though: while they have kept the wireless capability from the older models they have added a Bluetooth to it too. Not just being true to the saying that everything is better with Bluetooth but if your phone and network support it, they can actually connect to the internet using the phone as a modem giving you a new definition of mobility for your entertainment center. Of course the change of the PSP Go to a Memory Stick Duo only support has met quite a strong opposition but that is only to be expected given the natural tendency to resist change. But the change itself is good although the support for the internet store is only in its beginning and there will be some time until everything is put right so that no critics will be heard. However taking in to consideration that the PSP Go comes with an internal memory of 16 GB there are still reasons to rejoice.
